Terrence Keaney, MD, FAAD

Founder & Board-Certified Dermatologist

Terrence Keaney, MD, FAAD, of SkinDC just outside of Washington DC, is a pioneer and advocate for the “personalization” of dermatology. He recognizes the importance of customizing dermatology care based on the individual characteristics, needs, and preferences of his patients. The first step in personalization is a patient’s gender because of its influence on anatomy, skin function, and behavior. Whether treating hair loss, acne, rosacea, skin cancer, genital skin diseases, or skin aging, Dr. Keaney designs treatment for the patient’s skin and lifestyle.

In order to provide tailored treatments, Dr. Keaney adopts the latest technology to assist in skin imaging and treatment. He utilizes the latest imaging software to quantify signs of aging and disease and then utilizes the cutting edge laser, light, and energy based technologies that provide superior results for both men and women.

With the opening of SkinDC, Dr. Keaney has a practice with which he can focus on his priorities of personalized, preventive skin care using innovative dermatology techniques and products.
